NEW FLOAT RULES

BEAD STORAGE
- Lockers are provided for those who purchased them. Standard locker locks will work.
- There are hooks inside by the port-a-potties to hang bags and bead belts.
- Cleats on the dock of the float are for "temporary" storage only. Once the parade starts, all belts and bags must be removed and either worn or placed inside the float. The height of the new float is much lower (than our Castle float) and bags and belts will tear up the festooning underneath.
FLOAT RULES
- NOTE: Bathrooms are Unisex; No designated Women's or Men's
- No one is to lean or sit on the ropes between the posts on the deck of the float. The rope is not sturdy enough to support your weight. It is especially important at the Children's Parade that parents watch that kids do not lean or swing on ropes.
- The only way to get on the float is by using the stairs. Do NOT use the ropes to lift yourself onto the side of the float.
- No sitting on the outside deck and dangling legs over the side - especially important at Children’s Parade.
- No sitting on Crab Traps on the float. These are for decoration. You can lean against them, but they will not support your weight.
- No sitting or putting beer on top of the speakers.
- No one is allowed in the stereo room.
- No crossing over between the front of the float and tow vehicle.
- There is a barrel trashcan inside the float. We can hang a bag temporarily on the back steps, but during the parade, all trash should be placed inside.
